Mustafa Ali recently made Charly Caruso pronounce his name correctly on RAW Talk.
A fan asked Ali why he didn’t do this early on, and Ali replied that he was terrified WWE will change his name.
Here’s what Ali wrote:
“I was afraid of what would happen. I was terrified my name would be too difficult to pronounce, so it would be taken away. And it happened. I had to fight for my name. Now, I’m fighting for it be pronounced correctly. I don’t expect people to understand the weight of all that.”

It should be noted that WWE did take away Ali’s first name at one point, but gave it back to him later.
