Despite having his ‘Last Match’ in 2022, Ric Flair has stated in multiple interviews that he wants to wrestle again.

This led to former WWF/WCW writer Vince Russo saying the following on The Wrestling Outlaws podcast:

“I really believe that’s what he wants (die in the ring). And he can do whatever he wants; it doesn’t affect me one way or another. But I’m telling you, bro, I honestly believe that that is his fairytale ending.”

Flair heard Russo’s comments and wrote the following on Social Media:

“For The First Time Vince Russo, I Totally Agree With You. We’ve Had Our Differences, Probably Because Of Bischoff, But He’s An Issue In Everyone’s Life.

I Left My Entire Family Behind Trying To Be The Best I Could Be In Professional Wrestling. I Totally Agree With You That I Would Love To Die In The Ring.

I Spent My Entire Life There, So Why Not? WOOOOO! Thank You For The Respect Which Eric Bischoff Has Never Shown Me!”

Speaking of Flair, he finally made his AEW debut on last night’s episode of Dynamite, and reunited with Sting. Flair was originally scheduled to debut in All Elite Wrestling in late 2021, but that didn’t happen due to backlash from the Dark Side Of The Ring episode on the infamous 2002 Plane Ride From Hell.

Flair said he wants to ride with Sting until The Icon retires at AEW Revolution 2024.
