We reported that WCW Legend Bill Goldberg plans to do an independent retirement tour, as WWE might not bring him back for an official retirement match.
Former 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion EC3 (Ethan Carter III) was interviewed on ‘The Wrestling Outlaws’ podcast, where he challenged Goldberg for a retirement match, that could happen as part of the tour.
Here’s what EC3 said:
“173-0, big deal, you had to lose to a cattle prod and a big sexy powerbomb? I eat big sexy powerbombs for breakfast! Then you know what, I sh*t Goldberg out of my a**hole.
EC3, whose undefeated streak was actually legitimate and consistent for many, many years in IMPACT Wrestling, and I never lost to a Cattle Prod. Not once!
So Bill, if you want your final match, have it against the final man to beat you, EC3! I’ll catch that spear, drop him on his bald head, and boom! Just like that.
You know what? I’d probably make him tap too.”
Goldberg wrestled his last match to date in February 2022, when he unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia.
