During an interview on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast, former Universal Champion Braun Strowman made a bold claim about his WWE booking:
“I always joke around if WWE would have ever just let me be me, I would’ve ruled the world. I didn’t have the pencil. So, I did my best I could with what they gave me every week.
I like to think I changed what it meant to be a big man in the wrestling business.
And now here I am with another opportunity in life to go out here and prove naysayers wrong and break these stereotypes that follow around big people like me.”

During an interview with amNewYork, AEW President Tony Khan talked about Sting’s retirement match at Revolution 2024.
Here’s what Khan said:
“Before Sting went out for his last match, as they were showing the video package, and as his sons were about to make their entrances and they were on the stage, that was really special.
Sting said some very nice things to me right before he went out that I’ll never forget about how fantastic his run had been, and how happy he was about all this and the things he said afterwards. That was really probably the highlight.”
Sting appeared at the AEW WrestleDream PPV this past Saturday, where he beat up The Death Riders for interfering in the Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley “I Quit” match.

During an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Kurt Angle praised Chad Gable (who was also portraying El Grande Americano before his injury) and thinks the former Tag Team Champion should be a main eventer in WWE.
Here’s what Angle said:
“I think he’s great. I’m just happy he was able to find his niche. I know it’s kind of identical to mine, but if it works for him I’m happy for him. I think regardless of if he did my character or anyone else’s, I think the kid’s incredibly talented, so he would have succeeded either way.
You know the problem with him, I think it’s only because the office looks at him like this but he’s a little undersized, but that’s not an excuse. Chris Benoit was 5’9″, Eddie Guerrero was 5’8″, Rey Mysterio’s 5’5″, so someone like Chad can be a main eventer.”

During an interview on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Arn Anderson recalled an incident between Kurt Angle and John Cena in the ring early in Cena’s career, where Angle beat up Cena.
Here’s what Arn said:
“Vince pulled me in the office and went, ‘We got a new kid that we pulled up. We think he’s got a very bright future, Arn, teach him how to work.’ I did in fact have his matches, and John was very, very green. He was green in his thought process.
One night, he was working with Kurt Angle, some guy out in the audience had one of those ‘hands’ and John spotted it. He just leaves Kurt, rolls out of the ring, goes about 10 rows deep, takes the hand, and folds it into a finger. He goes back over the rail. Right there’s Kurt. Kurt hit him with the Belly-to-Belly on the floor and threw him in the ring and stomped his brains out.
When he came back through the curtain, I went, ‘Learn anything tonight?’ And he had this (wide-eyed) look on his face, ‘Oh yeah,’ because he had just got the dog sh*t kicked out of him by somebody that could do it and not have any repercussions from it.
I just said, ‘You gotta respect the guy. You don’t leave a guy, even in the ring. You don’t leave a guy and walk over and start screaming at the fans with your back to that guy.’”
