CM Punk has been fired from AEW for the backstage incident at All In 2023 and Jim Cornette isn’t happy about it.

While talking about this situation on his podcast, Cornette talked about how the meeting between Punk and The Elite before All In was canceled at the last minute, Punk’s travel issues in London and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry’s actions.

Below is what Cornette said:

“They send him to Atlanta for a meeting then they cancel it. Then they fly him across the fug in England. And they stick him at the airport with no transportation. Then he gets lost on the goddamn subway.

Then he goes to the biggest show of all time and he has to sit there and watch some f**king curly-headed f**king entitled little prick mouth off on him on television while he’s standing there. What do you think he was gonna do?

I’m surprised he didn’t football kick Tony in the f**king pu$$y.”

During the All Out 2023 post-show media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan thanked Punk for what he did for All Elite Wrestling as a Professional Wrestling Superstar, but said that firing Punk was necessary after what happened.
