• “In 5 years, you’ll see the impact” – CM Punk On AEW’s Potential

When CM Punk came to AEW last year, many fans thought AEW’s TV viewership is going to increase.

However, that wasn’t the case. WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff pointed out how Punk’s return (and several other former WWE stars coming in) had no positive effect on AEW’s viewership and Punk didn’t like Bischoff’s comments.

During the post-AEW All Out 2022 media scrum, the new AEW World Champion said the following about the potential of Tony Khan’s company:

“In 5 years, you’ll see the impact of it. There is just so much drama and turmoil going on, but I, you know, I like to believe in the place I work.

We do have a very, very strong roster and like I said, we have a lot of brilliant minds backstage.

So if young talent is willing to actually listen, receive advice, and information I honestly think the sky’s the limit.”
