Britt Baker vs. Taya Valkyrie on last week’s AEW Dynamite received a lot of criticism from the fans. Many fans were of the opinion that AEW is not booking the Women’s division correctly.
After the match, Canadian Indy Wrestler LuFisto took to Twitter to state that the problem isn’t AEW’s booking of the Women’s division, but the turmoil that doesn’t seem to end in the Women’s locker room.
LuFisto shared a number of tweets today to give more details about the problems in the AEW Women’s division.
She said that the women who addressed problems in the Women’s division were sent home by AEW President Tony Khan. He allegedly also told those women that their segments were the lowest rated in a meeting.
She added that women who wanted to address problems related to Britt Baker’s rumored backstage politics were punished.
The legitimate AEW wrestlers who know LuFisto believe that the Women’s division isn’t being handled correctly.
Below is what LuFisto tweeted:
“Had a one hour phone call with a current AEW talent.
The women who actually addressed the problems I did today were the ones sent home by Tony Khan.
There was a meeting to shoot on Thunder Rosa that Khan attended. Before leaving, he reminded them that their segments were the lowest (rated).
When some girls arranged a meeting to talk about Baker’s crew, one of them ran to Britt to let her know. The girls that wanted to address the problem were the ones punished.
Things didn’t get better. They got worse…
The legitimate wrestlers believe Tony doesn’t give a damn about women’s wrestling and feel like they are going back to the Divas era.
Ask me who the f**k am I. Tell me I’m irrelevant and that I’m doing this for attention. Call me a liar. Tell me to kill myself…
You keep on closing your eyes and supporting human beings with sh*tty behaviour.
With the messages of support and especially this phone call I received from AEW employees…
This nobody did the right thing.”
