As noted on last night’s WWE Raw, Michael Cole & JBL noted that the the scheduled IC Title ladder match between Daniel Bryan & Bad News Barrett might be in jeopardy due to Bryan’s on going health issues. There were rumors that Bryan suffered a concussion during a match with Sheamus but WWE shot down those rumors.
Daniel Bryan is in a rough shape and is banged up. The official preview for this match on WWE’s website has been updated and the WWE staff notes that Bryan is undergoing “diagnostic testing” which will determine if he’ll be able to perform this Sunday at Extreme Rules PPV or not. Daniel Bryan rose above six other Superstars to capture his first Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania. However, if the ever-popular “Yes!” Man hopes to hold onto the title, he’ll have to get past the Superstar who lost the championship that day, Bad News Barrett, at Extreme Rules. Bryan is undergoing diagnostic testing to see if he can defend his title at Extreme Rules.
