• Is Daniel Bryan Returning To WWE Programming?
We previously reported that Daniel Bryan’s contract ran out after he wrestled his last WWE match on April 30 this year, losing to Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a ‘Title vs. SmackDown Career’ match.
With Bryan’s name being mentioned in the current Roman Reigns – Edge storyline, speculation began that this could lead to Bryan returning to WWE programming.
Here’s what the Wrestling Observer is reporting about Bryan’s current situation:
“Regarding all the mentions of Daniel Bryan on television of late, we’re told this isn’t an indication he’s coming back. They keep mentioning his name because he is part of the story of building Reigns vs. Edge, since they are using him as the reason Edge didn’t already win the Title [at WrestleMania 37].
Nobody really knows what he’s doing past if he’s made a secret deal with any company.”
If there won’t be a return to WWE, he could possibly join All Elite Wrestling (AEW), IMPACT Wrestling (fka TNA), Ring of Honor (ROH) or even New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) using his real name, Bryan Danielson.

• Old School WWF/WCW Legend Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF/WCW Legend “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel (“Big Sexy” Kevin Nash) celebrates his 62nd birthday today.
Nash started with Ted Turner’s WCW in 1990 as Steel, one half of the Master Blasters, but later adapted even more unsuccessful gimmicks like Oz & Vinnie Vegas, before joining the WWF in 1993 as Shawn Michaels’ bodyguard Diesel.
In 1996, Kevin Nash went back to WCW, this time under his real name, and changed Professional Wrestling’s history by founding the nWo New World Order with Scott Hall & Hulk Hogan.
In 2015, Kevin was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his close, personal friend, “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels.
Then in 2021, he was inducted a second time, as a member of the New World Order.
