• “It hurt my feelings, egocentrically” – Jim Ross On Vince McMahon’s Decision About Him

AEW Commentator Jim Ross served WWE for a major part of his career as a commentator and as the EVP of Talent Relations, which is why he’s also in the company’s Hall Of Fame.

Ross was a part of WWE’s “Then, Now and Forever” opening intro back in the day, but he was later removed from it when he parted ways with the company.

This really hurt his feelings. He said the following about it on the latest episode of Grilling JR:

“I took that as a great source of pride when some of my bites were featured in those opens. I thought it was pretty cool, so it was a source of pride for me.

When it got changed, when I got eliminated from it, it hurt my feelings, egocentrically. I wanted to be part of the open.”
