• Mercedes Moné Vacates Her Final Title After Disagreement With Indy Promotion

Mercedes Moné’s historic “Ultimo Moné” belt collector run has officially come to an end. After beginning her dominant run in 2025, Moné went on to collect championships across multiple promotions around the world.

In Moné Mag, it was revealed that she has vacated the APAC Wrestling Women’s Championship after the promotion was unable to fly her to Malaysia and refused to allow her to defend the title in other promotions.

Below is her statement:

“A Tough Decision

While I was in London, I had to make a tough call.

I sent the Malaysia Championship back.

My team and I really tried to make things work—we put in the effort, had the conversations, and explored every option. But at the end of the day, they told us they didn’t have the budget to fly me out and weren’t open to working with other promotions.

And for me?

That just didn’t align with the vision.

So I made the decision to vacate the title.

And look—this business isn’t always easy.

Not every partnership works out the way you hope. But I’ve learned to stand firm in my worth, my time, and what I bring to the table.

Every title I hold means something.

Every move I make has purpose.

So even though it wasn’t easy, it was necessary.

Because growth sometimes means letting go.”

During this run, Moné held the AEW TBS Championship, the CMLL World Women’s Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship (merged with the Queen of Southside Championship), the EWA Women’s Championship, the BestYa Women’s Championship, the PTW Women’s Championship, the Discovery Wrestling Scottish Women’s Championship, the BODYSLAM Women’s Championship, the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship, the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship and the APAC Wrestling Women’s Championship.

The CEO now holds the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Championship, which can not be defended.
