However, sources close to her deny she ever made such a request, according to Fightful Select.
While some wrestlers questioned whether she was actually injured, WWE officials confirmed she was but noted she was ready to return earlier. The company chose to keep her out longer to ensure she was fully cleared and had additional time at the Performance Center before her comeback.
On Friday’s SmackDown, Naomi admitted that she attacked Cargill. Cargill then took her out.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Cargill reportedly said Baszler “needed to learn how to work,” a comment that spread and upset many backstage.
In an update, Fightful Select is reporting that people close to Cargill have revealed that Cargill was actually disappointed in herself for what happened and was apologetic about it backstage.
While the issue had been quiet for months, Cargill’s recent promo demanding respect and referencing being “surrounded by wolves” reignited the controversy, with some WWE talents taking it personally.
