• Jim Cornette Bashes Former WWE Champion, Says He Should Stop Wrestling ‘Garbage Matches’
Old School WWF Manager Jim Cornette is very well known to be the biggest critical reviewer of All Elite Wrestling, so it comes as little to no surprise that he bashed former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose, former WWE Champion) during a recent episode of his weekly podcast.
In this case, Cornette wasn’t referring to Jon’s AEW matches though, but bashed him for his recent GCW appearance, where he became the champion of the Death-Match-Indy-promotion and is set to defend the Title against Nick Gage on October 9th.
Here’s what Jim had said about Moxley in GCW:
“He doesn’t know how to have more than one kind of a match, and it’s a garbage match.
He’s fixated and has a fetish for these death match garbage pieces of sh*t like the bank addicted drug robber, and he’s been lucky enough to get a job with the two biggest companies in the United States in the last 20 years (WWE and AEW) and still wants to go out to barns and stick thumbtacks in himself with the rest of this trash for even a little bit of money.
But certainly not as much as he makes with his main job which he ought to be taking care of, but instead he’s out there fostering relationships with garbage people and garbage promotions around the world.”
