• Jim Ross Addresses Rumor Of Him Drinking During AEW Shows
A fan started a rumor of Twitter that WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross drinks during AEW tapings.
Good Ol’ JR got angry after reading this nonsense and said the following on his podcast:
“I’ll say something I don’t do. Somebody wrote on Twitter the other day, as if they knew, that I drink a lot of Crown Royal during the broadcasts. That’s so f**king ridiculous.
You wanna say that? I feel so sorry for you that you would imagine that happening. If I could rebuke that stupid f**king rumor. It’s ridiculous.”
Speaking of rumors, there’s a rumor that JR’s full-time run in AEW is going to come to an end soon.
He’s expected to stop being on commentary every week and will move to calling select big matches every now & then. He’s expected to focus more on backstage sit-down interviews and other backstage work in AEW.
We’ll see if this actually happens, when JR’s current contract with AEW comes to an end in April 2022.
