• Jim Ross Finally Addresses Claims That He Made Racist Remarks Toward D-Von Dudley
Earlier this year, D-Von Dudley claimed that Jim Ross made racist remarks toward him during the Attitude Era. You can read more about D-Von’s claims by tapping here.
On his Grilling JR podcast, Good Ol’ JR finally addressed these claims:
“That’s so absurd, it doesn’t merit a response. I like D-Von. I hired he and Bubba. I thought we did a good job of booking them. They made money. They were put in situations where they could do the things they do best. Those TLC matches were pieces of art – they’ll last forever. The Dudleys are a major part of that.
I know Bubba for sure, because I was involved in the booking of that stuff. And I don’t know, I was shocked to hear that, because I don’t recall ever having a cross word with D-Von Dudley. I always respected him and his work. I love the Dudley tag team.
It took me totally off guard. I never said that to D-Von Dudley. And why he would conjure up that…I guess to get attention. Maybe he’s not as happy with his post-wrestling life as Bubba is, because Bubba’s made a tremendous success of himself as a broadcaster and still works.
So, I never said that. I wish it had not happened. Some people, I’m sure, are still going to believe it, and that’s their prerogative. But I’m not angry at D-Von. I’m just curious and don’t understand why he went there. I just don’t get it.”
• Update On How Many Tickets WWE Has Sold For WrestleMania 42 So Far
Early ticket data is beginning to take shape for WrestleMania 42, and the numbers suggest strong demand for WWE’s biggest weekend of the year in Las Vegas.
According to figures released by WrestleTix, WrestleMania 42 – Night 1 is currently scheduled for April 18, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium. With 114 days remaining until the show, WWE has sold 35,973 tickets under the current seating configuration of 43,416. There are 6,375 standard tickets still available, along with 1,068 combo tickets. The full seating map lists 68,179 total seats, and resale activity remains minimal at just 14 tickets. The cheapest standard admission ticket for Saturday is currently priced at $251.
WrestleMania 42 – Night 2, set for April 19, 2026, is showing a nearly identical trajectory. With 115 days to go, ticket sales sits at 36,045, again based on a 43,416-seat setup. Availability includes 6,303 standard tickets and 1,068 combo tickets, while resale listings are even lower than Saturday’s at just 5 tickets. Fans looking to attend night two can expect to pay at least $292.45 for the lowest-priced standard admission ticket.
In total, WWE has sold 72,018 tickets so far for WrestleMania 42. Both nights are currently labeled as first counts, meaning seating configurations could still expand as production plans are finalized.
For comparison, WrestleMania 41 – Night 1 had sold 60,151 tickets, while WrestleMania 41 – Night 2 was at 61,389. These were the final numbers for this year’s WrestleMania, which also took place at Allegiant Stadium.
With WrestleMania 42 still months away, the early figures point to steady momentum rather than a rush, leaving WWE room to open additional sections if demand continues to build.
