• Jim Ross Says AEW Wrestler Is A Lot Like A Young Paul Heyman

In a recent interview with DAZN, Old School WWF play-by-play commentator Jim Ross compared current AEW Superstar MJF (Maxwell Jacob Friedman) to a young Paul Heyman.

Good Ol’ J.R. actually worked with Paul Heyman, then known as Paul E. Dangerously in Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1988 till 1992, and also during the Attitude Era in the WWF.

Here’s what Ross had to say about MJF:

“MJF is a prodigy. He’s special. He’s a lot like a young, and I worked with him, a young Paul Heyman.

He has a great gift for the English language. He has a heel’s mindset. He’s very clever, very creative.

I think he’s as good a talker as there is in pro wrestling right now from my ears.”
