• AJ Styles’ Role For This Week’s SmackDown Live Revealed

WWE posted the following regarding WWE Champion AJ Styles’ role for this week’s go-home edition of SmackDown Live for Clash of Champions 2017 PPV:

“WWE Champion AJ Styles and Jinder Mahal are on a collision course set for WWE Clash of Champions. However, the bitter rivals will come face to face one last time before their battle in Boston this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE.

Mahal has been in a rage since his WWE Title reign came to an end in Manchester, England last month at the hands of The Phenomenal One. The Modern Day Maharaja unleashed his fury on Styles last week, blindsiding the champion before he was set to take on Mahal’s associates, The Singh Brothers, in a Handicap Match.

Despite the attack, Samir & Sunil were no match for the victorious Styles, who even booted Mahal in the face when he tried to interfere.

Will these two Superstars be able to meet face to face without coming to blows? What will happen as this combustible rivalry nears its boiling point?”

• Jinder Mahal Reveals When He Was Told He Was Not Going To Face Brock Lesnar At Survivor Series 2017

During a recent interview with Akhilesh Gannavarapu, former WWE Champion “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal revealed when he was told he was not going to face Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series 2017.

Below is what Jinder said:

“I found the day of, when we got to Manchester. To be honest, I was a little disappointed, I was looking forward to that match. But I know that match is going to happen sometime in the future, and it is up to me to make sure that it happens. And I’m going to make sure that it happens.

Either; as I said earlier, there are two ways you can take it. You can either say you’re going to make it happen, or write and do whatever it takes to get there, or you can pour out, boohoo, and blame someone else. But what is meant to be, was meant to be, it will be. And I’m going to make sure that it becomes.”
