• John Cena Comments On WrestleMania 39 Loss
This past Saturday, 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena wrestled in the opening match of WrestleMania 39 – Night 1.
Cena lost to United States Champion Austin Theory. Theory actually tapped out during the match, but the referee was knocked out during this time.
Theory took advantage of the situation and low-blowed Cena, then hit his finisher to retain his Title and pick up the biggest win of his career.
This was Cena’s first appearance at WrestleMania since 2020. Make-A-Wish kids who wanted to go to WrestleMania were on the stage during Cena’s entrance.
Below is what Cena tweeted after being defeated by Theory:
“There are few things in entertainment that can rival seeing the WWE Universe during a WrestleMania entrance. Thankful I got share mine with some very special friends.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on April 4, 1993, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania IX’ LIVE on PPV from the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This was the 9th annual WrestleMania event and had the tagline “The Biggest Stars In The World Are Coming To Las Vegas!”.
The inaugural WrestleMania happened in 1985 and even nowadays WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet every year.
