John Cena will return to WWE programming on tonight’s episode of SmackDown before the Payback premium live event tomorrow night.
According to WrestleVotes, there are rumblings within WWE that Cena will be the Special Guest Host for the show.
There’s a possibility that the 16-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion will get involved in the segment between Grayson Waller and Cody Rhodes as when Cena last appeared for WWE at Money In The Bank in UK, Waller attacked him but got taken out with an Attitude Adjustment.
Rhodes is also not doing anything big at the event so WWE may have Cena give him the rub tomorrow night.
