• John Cena’s Rumored WWE Return Date

16-Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena returned to WWE last year at Money In The Bank to confront Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Cena faced Reigns for the Universal Title in the main event of SummerSlam 2021 and lost.

John missed WrestleMania 38 earlier this month, but it looks like his return is near.

According to Brad Shepard, Cena is currently scheduled to return to WWE programming in late-June.

June 27 will be the 20th anniversary of Cena’s WWE TV debut, so it is possible WWE is bringing him back for a celebration.

Earlier this year, Cena noted on The Ellen Show that he is not done with WWE:

“I will tell you and everybody watching, I’m not done with WWE by a long shot. That’s my home, I love it.

I was able to go back during the summer for a few months and entertain audiences when they welcomed audiences back to arenas, so I’m far from my last performance.”
