• John Morrison Reacts To Edge Mentioning His WWE Release On RAW

WWE Hall Of Famer Edge made his return to WWE programming on this week’s RAW.

Edge said there’s new opponents for him to face on RAW, like AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Big E.

The Miz & Maryse then made their return to WWE. Miz said he can’t believe they gave Edge the big return welcome when he keeps leaving and coming back. Miz said he can’t believe he’s not on Edge’s radar.

Edge said he thought Miz was still dressing up as a Genie on Dancing With The Stars. Edge speculated that Miz came out to interrupt him as that will put him in the main event scene.

Edge said Miz has people on other shows (referring to CM Punk on AEW Dynamite) saying his name just to get a cheap reaction, but he ends up leaving his partner to get fired. Edge then issued a challenge to The Miz, but Miz said no to a match.

Here’s Edge’s exact quote on John Morrison’s WWE release:

“You use this to get notoriety for your next endeavor, for your next reality show, for your next dance competition while you leave your partners high and dry to get fired.”

Morrison tweeted the following about this:

“Hey Edge high & dry?? #JohnnyDripDrip is never not wet

#TheFloodStud #AmericasMoistWanted

By the way when you jump into The Miz’s water be prepared for a slaughter.”

• AEW Star Is Open To Rumored Match With Ric Flair

“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair was granted his release from WWE earlier this year, and he’s free to do whatever he wants now.

Since then, he has appeared at NWA & AAA PPVs. He even got physical with Kenny Omega at a show for AAA.

You can watch it below:

During a recent edition of his podcast, Flair (age 72) revealed that a promoter in Israel wants him to face AEW’s TNT Champion Sammy Guevara.

Flair noted that he’d be open to the match and asked for $100,000. Here’s what the 2-time WWE Hall Of Famer said:

“It’s funny you brought that up because there’s a promoter in Israel that wants me to wrestle your buddy, Sammy Guevara, in Israel. I said, ‘$100,000 and two first class tickets and I’m there. 50% and 50 % after I beat Sammy (laughs).’”

It looks like Ric is serious about doing this match, as he tweeted the following:

“Like I Said… I’m Going To Die, And It’s Either Going To Be Next To My Hot Wife Or In The Ring Next To @sammyguevara. Preparing For One Or The Other! WOOOOO!”

Guevara looks ready to have this match, as he tweeted the following:

“Wrestling God vs Spanish God”

Flair recently claimed that he’s in better shape right now than he was 20 years ago:

“I’m in better shape now than I was when Sting and I wrestled the last match on Nitro. WWE won’t let me do anything, even though I’m released. I understand, they have so much liability and I told them I would sign anything, but nobody wants me to die on their watch. I’d rather die in the ring.”

• Triple H’s Condition Was “Very, Very, Very Serious”

In September, WWE issued the following statement:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

Later that month, Triple H wrote the following on Twitter:

“I’ve been blown away by the outreach and support from so many people. I’m recovering, doing well, & deeply grateful for all the love in my life.

Especially grateful for @ShawnMichaels & all the Superstars & crew @WWENXT! (Steph and the girls loved the snacks!)

See you soon.”

• Nia Jax Gives A Major Update On Her Pro-Wrestling Career

Former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax, who got released from WWE last month, might never wrestle again.

Here’s the latest update she posted about her pro-wrestling career on Twitter:

“Lol! 😂 Newflash..Lina is my real name. It’s not another ‘ring’ name. It’s just MY NAME, the name given to me at birth. Calm TF down trolls. In all fairness, ‘Opponent Crippler’ would be a SOLID front runner if I ever decide to wrestle again. 🤣 🙌🏽 but it’s highly unlikely.”

After she got fired, Nia issued the following statement:

“I usually keep my personal life private, but yesterday’s reports leave me with no option but to clarify matters. I recently took a short leave of absence from WWE for a mental health break.

I’ve been working through so much — more than I can share — and so I took some time, the full support of the company, to take care of myself.

Earlier this week, after WWE sent me my schedule to return to the ring for the November 15 show, I asked for an extension to my mental health break, feeling that I needed more time and hoping I would have the ongoing support of the company I have given my all to for the past 7 years. I did not receive a response.

The next I heard, I was being released. My vaccination status was never mentioned. I wasn’t given any choices or options.

It breaks my heart to be so abruptly let go, without consultation, while dealing with so much privately. I loved my career at WWE, I love the men and women I worked with, and I am going to need time to process this huge loss.

I appreciate those people who have shown understanding and compassion during an incredibly difficult time.”

• “Most talented superstar that never went to WWE” – Kurt Angle On AEW Wrestler

On a recent episode of his weekly ‘The Kurt Angle Show’ podcast, our Olympic Gold Medalist talked about current AEW Superstar Kenny Omega and went as far as comparing Omega to Old School WCW/WWE Legend Rey Mysterio.

Here’s what Kurt Angle had to say about the former AEW World Champion:

“What he’s been able to do the past 10 years in wrestling, over in Japan, here in the United States, he was the biggest star and the most talented superstar that never went to WWE. He will go down in history as that if he never does enter WWE.

His success, what he’s had in Japan and AEW, phenomenal. I haven’t seen a talent like him in a long time. I would say he’s every bit as talented as Rey Mysterio and he belongs on that upper echelons of talents.

One of the greatest workers in the business today.”

Omega is currently written off television to undergo some important surgeries and heal from all of his other injuries.

• R-Truth On Which Word Vince McMahon Hates The Most

We all know that certain words are banned on WWE programming these days, including words like Wrestling, Babyface, Heel, Kayfabe, … and many others (tap here to read the complete list).

During a recent interview with Bally Sports’ Brandon Robinson, WWF/E Veteran R-Truth (fka K-Kwik during the Attitude Era) revealed that Vince McMahon hates the word “belt” the most.

When asked which Title he wants to win the most, Truth said:

“I mean, I’m an accepting guy. I’ll take ANY belt and take it to the highest of beltstivity [laughs]. That’s what I do.

Whether if it’s WWE — and it’s not called a belt. It’s called a championship or a title. Vince McMahon says a belt is something you use to keep your pants up. So it’s a championship title, you see what I’m sayin’? (laughs)

But I would take any of those championship titles because they’re all prestigious titles and it’s an accomplishment. If you win one of the Tag [Team] Titles, it’s an accomplishment. So I think that any one of ‘em I think that you would be honored to have.”
