• Jon Jones Reacts To Fans Saying He’s Scared Of New UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou

In the main event of tonight’s UFC 260 pay-per-view, Francis Ngannou knocked out Stipe Miocic in Round 2 to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

You can watch the finish below:

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, who’s now going to compete in the Heavyweight Division, is interested in fighting the UFC Heavyweight Champion, but he wants a big payday.

This resulted in the fans saying that he’s afraid to fight in the Heavyweight Division.

During tonight’s UFC 260 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White said the following about Jones wanting to fight the UFC Heavyweight Champion:

“If I’m Jon Jones and I’m at home watching this fight, I’m moving down to 185.”

You can read Jones’ reaction to all of this below:

“Go to 185? I didn’t gain all this weight for no reason 😂

If anyone is wondering if I really want to fight, the answer is yes. I also really want to get paid.

I quit the light heavyweight division, literally gained a massive amount of weight. And now people are saying I’m afraid? Everyone but me claiming that I’m afraid. All I asked was to get paid.

Why does a fighter have to be afraid the second he mentions he wants to get paid his worth? What an insult.

Conor McGregor wants big money, it’s expected. Jon Jones wants money, now he’s scared.

I’ve been working my butt off, gained all this weight. Have never lost a fight before. Now all of a sudden I am scared. What bullsh*t.”
