On this day in 1997, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.

It was broadcasted from the E Center in Salt Lake City, Utah and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Halloween Havoc 1997’ PPV.

This episode also featured the WCW debut of Bill Goldberg in his first televised pro wrestling match ever.

• Jon Moxley Comments On Roman Reigns Becoming A Paul Heyman Guy

During a recent interview with The Sun, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose in WWE) was asked his thoughts on his former Shield brother, current Universal Champion Roman Reigns, becoming a Paul Heyman guy.

Below is what Moxley said:

“The concept of him and Paul Heyman – that was very cool to me. I think that’s gonna work out really good. All my friends there (WWE), I wanna turn the TV on and I wanna see them kicking a$$ and doing great.”
