• Jon Moxley’s 1st Title Match In NJPW In 3 Years Announced

AEW Superstar Jon Moxley will return to NJPW at the Dominion 2023 pay-per-view on June 4th.

At today’s NJPW Wrestling Dontaku event, Shota Umino announced that he will team up with Jon Moxley and one more wrestler to face Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii for the NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Championship at Dominion.

Okada, Tanahashi & Ishii defeated Minoru Suzuki, Ren Narita & El Desperado today to win these Titles.

Moxley’s last match in NJPW took place in February 2020, when he defended the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Minoru Suzuki.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 3, 1998, Extreme Championship Wrestling aired ‘ECW Wrestlepalooza 1998’ LIVE on PPV from the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia.

This was the 3rd out of 4 “Wrestlepalooza” events held by ECW between 1995 and 2000, but at the same time the only one of them that actually aired on pay-per-view.
