• Kairi Sane Staying With WWE, Announces New Role

Former Women’s Tag Team Champion Kairi Sane parted ways as a wrestler with WWE at the end of July. She was written off TV after being attacked by SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley on an episode of RAW.

The Pirate Princess took to Twitter today to announce that she’s staying with WWE and will be taking up a new role.

Sane has moved back to Japan as she wants to live with her husband there, and will work as a trainer for WWE in Japan.

Below is what she tweeted:

“Greeting from Japan!!

WWE Superstar Kairi Sane here.

I have moved back to Japan and will still train and support WWE from here.💪🏻”

WWE has had plans for NXT Japan, and Sane will most likely work as an ambassador for them from there.
