• After last night’s Dynamite went off the air, All Elite Wrestling taped this Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage. Below are the spoilers:
– Billy Gunn & The Acclaimed (c) def. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) & Brother Zay (Isiah Kassidy) to retain the AEW World Trios Championship
– ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston (c) def. Rocky Romero to retain the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship
Katsuyori Shibata confronted Kingston after the match.

– Hikaru Shida def. Ruby Soho
Shida will now face Saraya for the AEW Women’s World Championship on the special “Title Tuesday” episode of Dynamite on October 10.
• Adam Cole revealed on last night’s AEW Dynamite that he needs surgery after he injured his ankle last week.
However, MJF refused to vacate the ROH Tag Team Championship and will defend the Titles by himself in a Handicap Match this Sunday against The Righteous at the AEW WrestleDream PPV.
AEW wrestler Britt Baker (Adam’s girlfriend) tweeted the following about Cole’s injury:
“This guy broke his ankle in 3 places on a freak accident. He still hobbled around on live tv because as we like to say ‘the show must go on’.
Adam Cole gives his entire heart and soul to pro wrestling. He’s one tough cookie and this is just a small bump in the road. He’ll be back better than ever BAYBAY 👊🏻”

• Some fans are angry at Jade Cargill for leaving AEW and then going to WWE. AEW EVP & former World Champion Kenny Omega tweeted the following about it:
“This may be news to a lot of fans out there, but when one wrestler goes from one company to another, we tend to always wish them the best and cheer for them while they embark on their new journey. Genuinely.
It’s embarrassing and shameful that some fans aren’t capable of the same.”
