Kofi Kingston will be a part of a Gauntlet match on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live. He’ll receive a WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 35 if he wins this Gauntlet match.

To win this Gauntlet match, Kofi will have to defeat the following men:

– Randy Orton

– Samoa Joe

– Sheamus

– Cesaro

– Erick Rowan

There’s no wrestler in WWF/E history that has ever won a Gauntlet match by eliminating more than 4 opponents in a row.

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin eliminated 5 wrestlers all by himself in a Gauntlet match in 1999, but couldn’t win the match as he was defeated by the 6th opponent – Mr. McMahon.

Kofi can make history next week if he’s able to win his Gauntlet match next week on SmackDown Live.
