• Kurt Angle Would Love To Manage New WWE Superstar
On a recent episode of the Pancakes & Powerslams podcast, Old School WWF Legend Kurt Angle was asked to name a Superstar he would love to manage on TV.
Here’s what the 2017 WWE Hall of Famer replied:
“Oh, Gable Steveson! Olympic gold medalist! That would be an easy one!”
Steveson was recently drafted to the Monday Night RAW roster during the 2021 WWE Draft, despite him only starting to train and make the transformation from an olympic (amateur) wrestler to a professional wrestler.
Here’s what Fightful Select reported on the backstage reaction to Gable’s draft:
“Steveson was listed on internal run sheets as being drafted, which prompted many surprised faces when they received the itinerary. Steveson wasn’t at the venue when he was picked, but the sheet actually listed him as having an ‘entrance’, which clearly didn’t happen.”
