We recently reported that Kevin Nash referred to current WWE SmackDown Superstar LA Knight as a rip-off of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Here’s what ‘Big Daddy Cool’ Diesel had to say:

“Am I the only one that sees an absolute rip-off of The Rock to the point when he cut the promo on f**king Logan Paul or whatever the f**k his name is.

The only thing he didn’t do is turn the motherf**ker sideways.

Jesus Christ, does everybody have amnesia? There’s nothing original.”

After receiving some negative feedback online for his comparison, Nash addressed the situation again on an episode of his weekly ‘Kliq This’ podcast.

Here’s what the former WWF Champion had to say:

“I’m not gonna apologize. I think it’s a blatant rip-off, but I didn’t mean any harm.

There’s so many people who agree that LA is doing The Rock/Austin.

I mean, the guy’s been in the business for like 10 years. Why didn’t he get over anywhere else?

If you’re not over in 3 years, it’s probably just not gonna happen.”

This past Friday on SmackDown, LA Knight indirectly took a shot at Nash when he said the following during his promo:

“Everybody wants to use my name, everybody on the Internet wants to use my name to get views and clicks. Let’s call it what it is – I’m the best decision this company ever made. Because I stand head & shoulders above, nobody back there can touch me.”

You can watch it below:

LA Knight wrestles professionally since 2003 and was best known for his 2015-2019 run with IMPACT Wrestling as Eli Drake, where he was a World Champion, before he joined WWE in February 2021.

A lot of experts see him as a future World Champion in WWE and possibly even the #1 babyface of the company at some point.
