The Rock made a surprise return to WWE programming at the Bad Blood PLE on October 5th, igniting fan speculation about what he might do next. While many hope he’ll have a match at WrestleMania 41, The Rock has yet to confirm his attendance.
The Final Boss later addressed rumors suggesting he’d miss WrestleMania 41, bringing relief to fans by telling them not to believe the rumors. However, his exact plans remain unknown, leaving fans eager to see if he’ll make an appearance at Royal Rumble or during WrestleMania season.
The Wrestling Observer noted that The Rock hasn’t been officially confirmed for the event yet, explaining that it’s ultimately his decision, with WWE aiming to finalize plans by Royal Rumble:
“I know he was not confirmed for the show as of Thursday, so if something changed, I’ll find out. If he wants to do it, he’s doing it. It’s up to him obviously.
As long as it’s confirmed by when it needs to be confirmed, it could be confirmed at any time. They want to know going into the Royal Rumble where they are going and at that point, we’ll see. But yeah, that’s the deal.”
Reports have also suggested a possible WrestleMania 41 triple threat main event featuring Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Rock, with all three said to be interested in the idea.
In a Fightful Select Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp addressed The Rock’s WrestleMania 41 status, mentioning that The Rock hasn’t communicated to WWE that he won’t be participating:
“They claim he has not given messaging that he WON’T be at WrestleMania.”
