• Latest Update On Triple H’s Status After Heart Surgery

WWE announced last week that “The Game” Triple H recently underwent heart surgery after a cardiac event.

Below is WWE’s statement:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

In a new update regarding Triple H, the Wrestling Observer is reporting that HHH is in good shape and is taking calls, but no one is allowed to discuss WWE business with him, as they don’t want him to take any kind of stress at this point.

“Everything remains quiet regarding Paul Levesque. We are told that he’s in good enough shape that he is taking calls. Talent was told that they can call him and wish him well but that they are not to talk any WWE business with him.”

While everyone has respected Triple H’s privacy, WWE Hall Of Famer “Superstar” Billy Graham wrote on Facebook that he wants to know the details of Triple H’s heart issues, and that Triple H should not keep his health issues a secret (tap here to know more).

• Old School ECW Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Old School ECW Veteran Paul Varelans celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

Before joining Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling, he used to be an MMA fighter who had 8 UFC fights between 1995 and 1996, 4 of which he won, while losing the other 4 fights.

Fresh out of the UFC, Varelans was brought into ECW in 1996 to put kayfabe shoot-fighter Taz over, but only agreed to do it after ECW diva Missy Hyatt offered to give him a BJ when the match is over.

Paul lost to Taz via submission in a worked “Shoot Fight”, but when Missy told him she doesn’t blow jobbers, he got angry and tore up the entire ECW locker room.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY & † REST IN PEACE
