Japanese wrestlers Asuka and Akira Tozawa will miss the tour due to injuries, and United States Champion Logan Paul is unable to attend because of a prior commitment.
Fans are speculating that Logan won’t be working this tour because of his infamous history in Japan, and that the “prior commitment” is just an excuse.
Logan infamous history in Japan centers around a highly controversial video he posted in December 2017. During a trip to Japan, Paul visited the Aokigahara Forest, also known as the “suicide forest” due to its reputation as a place where many people have taken their own lives.
In the video, Paul and his friends discovered a deceased body and filmed it, showing the victim’s body while making insensitive remarks. The video was met with widespread condemnation for its lack of sensitivity and respect.
Paul later issued multiple apologies, acknowledging his serious lapse in judgment, and the incident significantly impacted his public image.
This incident also resulted in The Rock ending his business relationship with Logan, as Rock told Logan to take down all the videos that they collaborated on.
