On this day in 1997, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired another LIVE episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted from the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and featured matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Bash at the Beach 1997 PPV.

• Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson Have Reportedly Signed With IMPACT Wrestling, Debut Date
As we noted earlier, Gary Cassidy reported that former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, had finalised a deal with IMPACT Wrestling.
In an update to his previous report, Cassidy reports that Gallows and Anderson have now signed with IMPACT Wrestling, and they’re now under contract with the company.
“I’ve been told Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson to IMPACT Wrestling IS a done deal.
The pair will debut in July, either at Slammiversary or shortly after, in line with the terms of their WWE non-compete clause.
The deal allows the former WWE Tag Team Champions to work with NJPW.”
