Major Changes Reportedly Coming On WWE RAW

RAW IS WAR

• Major Changes Reportedly Coming On WWE RAW

This week’s pre TLC episode of WWE RAW drew an all-time record low viewership of 1.53 million viewers. RAW has been dealing with low viewership for a while, and it has stayed under the 2 million mark for most of the year.

As we noted before, a report from WrestleVotes stated that WWE officials aren’t taking this news lightly, and may be planning some reactionary measures to tackle it.

WrestlingNewsco is now reporting that WWE CEO Vince McMahon is planning to “shake up” things on the RAW after TLC, and some “out of the box” ideas are being considered for the red brand in the coming weeks.

While most of last week’s RAW was written by McMahon, the blame for the decline in ratings is being put on the creative team.

The report further stated that “people are walking on eggshells after the record-low viewership and there’s been talk about scrapping some of the plans that were discussed for the build to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. There is also some concern that if things do not turn around, then some people in creative could be let go.”
