• Major Kurt Angle Match Cancelled, Reason Behind Plan Being Nixed

After Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio was cancelled on this week’s RAW, another major Angle match plan got nixed for this week.

According to The Dirty Sheets, both Kurt Angle and WWE Champion Daniel Bryan pitched the idea of them facing each other on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

WWE Officials told them last week that they would take the idea under serious consideration, but the idea was eventually dropped.

It was noted that WWE officials didn’t want to go in this direction as this didn’t fit in with Bryan’s WrestleMania 35 plan (which was to build up to his match with Kofi Kingston this Sunday).
