On this day in 1993, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW Saturday Night’.
It was taped at the Center Stage Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW SuperBrawl III’ PPV.

• Major Name Confirmed For WWE Super ShowDown 2020
Soon to be two time WWE Hall of Famer “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan will be a part of next month’s WWE Super ShowDown 2020 pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, according to PWInsider.
No word yet on what Hogan’s role at this upcoming PPV will be:
“WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who will be inducted into the company’s Hall of Fame for the second time over WrestleMania 36 weekend, is slated to be part of the Thursday 2/27 WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia, PWInsider has confirmed. There is no word yet on Hogan’s role for the show.”
Hogan worked last year’s WWE Crown Jewel 2019 PPV in Saudi Arabia, where Team Hogan beat Team Flair in a 10 man tag team match.
