On this day in 1995, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WCW MONDAY NITRO’.
It was broadcasted LIVE from the Knight Center in Miami, Florida and featured matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WCW Fall Brawl 1995’ PPV.

• Major Title Match Nixed For WWE Clash Of Champions 2020
Asuka defeated Sasha Banks at SummerSlam last month to become a 2-time RAW Women’s Champion.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Asuka was set to defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at Clash Of Champions, but the plan got changed when WWE decided to have Baszler team up with Nia Jax to go after the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
The new plan for Asuka will likely involve her defending the Title against Natalya at Clash Of Champions, as they’re currently feuding on RAW. On the other hand, Baszler and Jax will probably defend their Titles against The Riott Squad at the event.
Asuka is set to defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Mickie James on next week’s episode of RAW.
