• Major Update On Goldberg’s Upcoming WWE Matches

WCW Legend Bill Goldberg hasn’t wrestled a match in 10 months now, after not being able to defeat Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at the Elimination Chamber 2022 PPV in Saudi Arabia on February 19th.

In July, he told the New York Post the following during an interview:

“I’m still waiting for that one call to happen one of these days. But I suppose you never retire in the wrestling world until you’re dead, so who knows. Hey, I may never get the call, you never know. But you bet your a$$ I’ll be ready.”

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion recently appeared on the 929ESPN radio show and spoke to Max Kellerman.

Here’s what columnist Rick Ucchino reported about that interview:

“Goldberg just told Max Kellerman that he will wrestle again at some point. Says he doesn’t want to go out losing to Roman Reigns.”

According to Xero News, Goldberg (who will turn 56 later this month) has signed a new 2-year deal with WWE, where he is contracted to wrestle a total of 5 matches.

These 5 matches will take place at WrestleMania & the Saudi Arabia premium live events. 3 of these matches will be against young wrestlers that he has never faced before.

Also, one of these 5 matches will be a rematch against Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Below are the results of Goldberg’s last 5 matches:

WrestleMania 36 (Night 1) – Lost the Universal Championship to Braun Strowman

Royal Rumble 2021 – Lost to Drew McIntyre in a WWE Championship match

SummerSlam 2021 – Lost to Bobby Lashley via Referee Stoppage in a WWE Championship match

Crown Jewel 2021 – Defeated Bobby Lashley in a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere match

Elimination Chamber 2022 – Lost to Roman Reigns in a Universal Championship match
