• Major Update On WWE’s Plan For Trish Stratus Before Match Against Becky Lynch

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus recently turned heel by attacking Becky Lynch. She was also the one who attacked Lita backstage.

As we have noted before, WWE plans on doing Trish vs. Becky at SummerSlam 2023.

However, before that happens, WWE might have a big moment planned for Trish.

According to The Wrestling Blog, Trish might become champion soon:

“I’ve been told there’s current discussion of the possibility of having Trish Stratus go on a title run leading to a match against Becky.”

During an interview with Corey Graves on WWE’s After The Bell podcast, Trish was asked about the chances of her going after the RAW or SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Below is what the 7-time WWE Women’s Champion said:

“Pretty high. I guess the odds could be high. Do I look good in gold? Yes I do. Do I represent well? Yes, I do. Can I do your press conference? Yes, I can.”

Trish then said the following about the current RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley:

“I’m loving watching the development, because for me, it was about being this valet, but then having a character, developing, and getting to know her as a character, and then watching her in her role, and I’ve seen this with Rhea Ripley. It’s been wonderful to watch.

She’s pretty special and I’m so happy to see where she’s at. Bianca, she’s someone special. She’s so athletic. I feel like she’s someone that is born to do what she does. It’s so natural and so effortless. I love seeing her. She’s a great champion.

I mean, could I dethrone her? Maybe? Probably, but I enjoy watching her. I think they’re both great and also both beautiful.”
