• Mariah May Leaves AEW To Join WWE

Mariah May has been removed from the AEW roster on All Elite Wrestling’s website, thus confirming that she has left the company. According to PWInsider, people in WWE confirmed to them that Mariah will start with them soon. Mariah has been absent from AEW programming since her highly praised match against “Timeless” Toni Storm at Revolution 2025, which concluded their feud over the AEW Women’s World Championship.

As previously reported, May had informed AEW of her decision not to re-sign with the promotion before her Revolution match with Storm. This revelation may also explain why, despite fan support, their match did not main event the pay-per-view.

• WWE Might Make A Change To WrestleMania’s Name If They Do It In Saudi Arabia

WrestleMania 42 still doesn’t have a confirmed location, but Las Vegas is expected to host the event for a second straight year. WWE has not officially announced a city yet. As reported by Fightful Select, company sources have remained quiet on the deal. However, several other locations were discussed internally, including London.

London had been rumored, but sources say WWE is asking for a large site fee to bring the event there. That contrasts with AEW, which actually pays venues and cities for shows like All In and Forbidden Door.

Saudi Arabia has shown interest in hosting a WrestleMania, but nothing is expected in the near future.

One longtime WWE employee told Fightful that if the company ever does bring WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia, it would likely happen later in the year and carry a different name like “Super WrestleMania,” similar to The Greatest Royal Rumble.

• Big E’s Show Gets Canceled

Peacock has canceled the comedy series ‘Laid’ after just one season, according to Variety.

The show starred Stephanie Hsu as Ruby Yao, a woman whose former $exual partners begin dying in the order she slept with them. Zosia Mamet played her best friend and roommate AJ, who helped her try to figure out what was going on.

The cast also included Michael Angarano and Tommy Martinez, with recurring and guest appearances from actors like Olivia Holt, Simu Liu, Chloe Fineman, and former WWE Champion Ettore “Big E” Ewen, who played a supporting role in the show.

Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger, revealing the return of Ruby’s estranged father, played by François Chau. In an interview with Variety, co-showrunner Nahnatchka Khan said they had already started thinking about where the story could go in a second season.

The show was based on an Australian series of the same name and was developed for Peacock by Khan and Sally Bradford McKenna.
