• Marty Jannetty’s Troubled Life To Be Featured In Dark Side Of The Ring Season 4

Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty used to be tag team partners. They were known as The Rockers.

When they broke up, Shawn went on to become a main event superstar and eventually one of the GOATs, while Jannetty stayed in the mid-card and was eventually gone from the WWF.

Nowadays, Jannetty is known for his weird Facebook posts.

Marty’s troubled life will be featured in season 4 of Dark Side Of The Ring, which will come out this May.

Below is what Variety reported about it:

“Dark Side of the Ring is narrated by wrestling legend Chris Jericho.

The official description of the fourth season states that it will ‘explore stories like the emotional rollercoaster of one of wrestling’s most captivating and controversial couples, Chris Candido and Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch, the car accident that derailed the career of future World Champion Magnum T.A., wrestling’s most unhinged monster, Abdullah the Butcher, a focused look on the troubled life of Marty Jannetty, Shawn Michaels’ former tag team partner, and much more.’”

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 80th birthday of Old School NWA/WWF/WCW Legend “King” Harley Race.

Harley Race is a former 8-time (WWE only acknowledges 7) NWA World Heavyweight Champion, who later also wrestled for the World Wrestling Federation from 1986 till 1989.

In 1990, Race joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, where he slowly moved from a Wrestler into the role of a Manager, managing the likes of Lex Luger, The Colossal Kongs, Yoshi Kwan & Big Van Vader.

Harley was inducted into the 2004 class of the WWE Hall of Fame by his old rival “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
