On this day in Pro Wrestling history on October 25, 1992, Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling aired ‘WCW Halloween Havoc 1992’ LIVE on PPV from the Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This was the 4th out of 12 annual ‘WCW Halloween Havoc’ pay-per-views that aired between 1989 and 2000.

The tagline of the event was “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal”.

• Matt Hardy On The Risk Hardy Boyz Took Before Their Return At WrestleMania 33

One night before making their surprise WWE return at WrestleMania 33 in a Ladder match for the RAW Tag Team Titles, The Hardy Boyz competed in a Ladder match against The Young Bucks at an ROH event.

Matt Hardy took to Twitter to talk about the risk they took at that time:

“Loved it, ROH was great to me. Love working with The Bucks of Youth. It was stressful knowing we COULD NOT get injured cause we were starting back at WWE WrestleMania the next day in an amazing surprise (Truthfully, I was mainly worried about Jeff & his insane passion to bump).”
