• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School WWF Veteran Gillberg (Duane Gill) celebrates his 61st birthday today.
Duane Gill used to do a lot of televised jobs on the weekly World Wrestling Federation TV Shows from 1991 until 1994, which turned him into one of the most famous and most remembered “Jobbers” in professional wrestling history.
In Tag Team matches, Duane often teamed up with Barry Hardy during those years, mostly under their real names, but sometimes also under masks as “The Executioners” or “The Toxic Turtles”.
Gill returned in 1998 during the famous Attitude Era and was turned into a parody of WCW Main Eventer Bill Goldberg, called “Gillberg”.
He holds the record as the longest reigning WWF Light Heavyweight Champion of all time.

• Matt Riddle Comments On His Wife Forgiving Him For Cheating On Her
WWE SmackDown wrestler Matt Riddle and his wife, Lisa Riddle, appeared on Bubba the Love Sponge show on Thursday morning, where they discussed Riddle’s wrestling career.
At one point, Bubba brought up Riddle’s affair with Candy Cartwright, which he accepted in a video statement released earlier this week. Bubba appreciated Lisa for how she handled the situation, to which she replied:
“I appreciate it so much. It means a lot. It’s been a whirlwind.
We’ve been through a lot. We’ve been through a lot together. I’m sure there’s gonna be more we’re gonna be through.”
Matt then said:
“She’s one of the strongest women I know, because she has the ability to forgive and understand. And I have been honest with her. Some people are like, ‘oh, I’m proud of you.’ And I’m like, ‘I did the wrong thing and then I did the right thing.’ And then I was lucky enough to be with someone that’s strong enough.”
