At tonight’s NJPW Resurgence 2025 event, AEW’s TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship.

This event also featured the NJPW return of The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson).

– STRONG Survivor Match: CJ Tino def. Allan Breeze [Pre-Show]

– Bea Priestley def. Viva Van [Pre-Show]

– Fred Rosser (fka Darren Young in WWE) def. Matt Vandagriff via submission

– NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship: United Empire (TJP and Templario) def. World Class Wrecking Crew (Royce Isaacs and Jorel Nelson) (c) to win the Titles

– The Young Bucks (Matthew & Nicholas Jackson) and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows & Karl Anderson) def. Bullet Club War Dogs (David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors & Gedo)

– NJPW Strong Openweight Championship: Tomohiro Ishii (c) def. Drilla Moloney to retain the Title

– NEVER Openweight Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) def. El Phantasmo to retain the Title

– IWGP World Heavyweight Championship: Hirooki Goto (c) vs. Zack Sabre Jr. ended in a double pinfall draw

– Triple Threat Match For The NJPW Strong Women’s Championship: AZM def. Mina Shirakawa and Mercedes Moné (c) to win the Title

AZM pinned Shirakawa to win the match. Mone’s NJPW Strong Women’s Title reign ends at 314 days.
