Mercedes Mone (fka Sasha Banks in WWE) continues her dominant run in professional wrestling, adding yet another championship to her growing list of accolades. The current AEW TBS Women’s Champion captured the EWA (European Wrestling Association) Women’s Championship at the Prater-Catchen event in Vienna, Austria, defeating Lexa Valo and Mila Smidt in a triple threat match. X user Pokernatic shared a photo of Mercedes proudly holding the EWA Women’s Title, a visual that quickly spread across social media as fans celebrated her latest accomplishment outside of AEW and NJPW.

Mercedes Mone Comments On Her Latest Title Win

While Mercedes Mone has solidified her spot as one of AEW’s top stars, she’s been making a notable impression around the globe. At NJPW Resurgence in May, Mone lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, but she has bounced back swiftly by securing gold elsewhere.

Her international schedule has drawn comparisons to wrestling greats who once dominated multiple territories at once. Winning the EWA Title in Europe proves that Mone isn’t limiting her legacy to just American promotions. With each win, her stock continues to rise, not just as a top name in All Elite Wrestling, but as one of the most decorated and active women’s wrestlers on the planet today.

She tweeted the following after her latest title win:

“You can call me 5 beltz Moné!”

Mercedes Mone Eyes AEW Women’s World Championship at All In: Texas

The victory in Austria may just be the beginning of an even bigger summer for Mone. She is set to challenge “Timeless” Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship on July 12th at AEW’s All In: Texas PPV.

If she wins, Mercedes Mone will hold both the AEW Women’s World Title and the AEW TBS Title simultaneously — a feat never before accomplished in the company’s 6-year history.

All the Championships Mercedes Mone Currently Holds

– AEW TBS Women’s Championship

– RevPro Women’s Championship aka Undisputed British Women’s Championship

– 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament Championship (not defendable)

– EWA Women’s Championship

This latest title win is further proof that Mone remains one of the most successful and talked-about figures in professional wrestling today — and with another title match around the corner, her momentum doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon.
