• Mick Foley Reveals How He Got The Freedom To Do Whatever He Wanted In The WWF
During a recent interview with Bleacher Report, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley discussed the “This Is Your Life” segment with The Rock and the actors used in that segment. Below is what Foley said:
“‘OK, I’ll bring you out and The Rock will say something, and then I’ll bring you out and The Rock will say something’. These were professional actors, and they were like, ‘This is how you do it?’ I just looked at them and said, ‘Yeah. We’ll come up with something.’
I think that was part of the magic of that segment. Everything was off the cuff, and I think The Rock and I played off each other really well.
Once the ratings were revealed, he was kind of like, ‘ok, you guys can do whatever you want from now on. And we had the freedom to pretty much do what we wanted.”
