• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 59th birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Terry “Bam Bam” Gordy.

He’s mostly remembered as a member of The Fabulous Freebirds and got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame with other Freebirds: Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts & Jimmy Garvin in 2016.

However, Terry Gordy was last seen on WWF TV in 1996-1997 under a mask as The Executioner, feuding with the legendary Undertaker.

• WWE’s Long-Time Referee Mike Chioda Finally Breaks Silence On His Release From The Company

A week ago, WWE released over 45 on-screen employees and 100+ backstage employees to make budget cuts due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

One of the most shocking releases was of the veteran WWE referee, Mike Chioda, who had been with the company since 1989.

Earlier today, Chioda took to Twitter to thank everyone for the support he received over the past week:

“A Very Special Thanks To All My WWE Co-Workers & WWE FANS for Reaching out to Me! I Really Appreciate The RESPECT & KIND WORDS FROM EVERYONE!! During these Unprecedented times in our lives. Everyone & There Families B Safe & God Bless!!”

Chioda officiated countless matches in the company, including many famous ones, like Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 14, and The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18.
