On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, MJF confronted The Hurt Syndicate in the ring, but the attempt to align himself with the group ended in rejection. Bobby Lashley shut him down firmly, and things quickly went downhill from there. Backstage, MJF’s frustration boiled over.

As MJF crossed paths with AEW interviewer Alicia Atout — who also happens to be his real-life girlfriend — tensions exploded. Atout tried to ask where things stood between MJF and The Hurt Syndicate, but Lashley cut her off, stating bluntly, “He’s not to be trusted and I don’t like him.” Shelton Benjamin added a jab of his own, saying, “We don’t need anyone, but little George Costanza is kind of funny.”

Lashley and Benjamin walked off. MJF then came in and said the following to Atout:

“This is an A-B conversation, so why don’t you C your skank little a$$ outta here.” He then slapped her on the butt and said, “I’ll see you around.”

MJF turned his attention to MVP and demanded answers: “Am I a b*tch to you? Why do I keep getting treated like a b*tch?”

MVP responded coolly, offering a cryptic but pointed message: “We know exactly who you are. This is a business. As a consumer, you find out what they want and you give it to them.” With that, MVP walked off, leaving MJF to stew in the aftermath of yet another rejection.
