• MJF Set To Face Bloodline Member, Takes Shots At Rikishi & Jey Uso
At House of Glory Wrestling’s “No Turning Back” event on February 20, MJF will defend the AEW World Championship against Zilla Fatu (Umaga’s son). To promote this match, MJF took shots at Rikishi and Jey Uso in his promo:
“I just beat Brody King and I think I want one more tune up match before I happen to beat Hangman at Revolution. Zilla Fatu, people think you’re next up. People think you have the potential to be the next big Samoan sensation, like The Rock, like Roman (Reigns). Big shoes to fill, my friend. You know what I think? Gosh, I think you’re just another sloppy Samoan nepo baby back b*tch. And I’m gonna prove it.
I’m coming to House of Glory and I’m putting the grandest prize of all, the Triple B, the AW World Championship, on the line. My friend, when this match is over, you’ll be done getting on your hands and knees praying to The Tribal Chief, and you’re gonna have to start praying the big Hebrew, a man who’s more talented than your whole family tree will ever be.
When I’m through with you, your uncle Rikishi is gonna cry on his podcast, your cousin Jey (Uso) is no longer gonna have the ability to YEET, and there won’t be a single woman on God’s green Rarth who will ever be willing to touch your meat.
Because I’m a generational talent. Because I’m the greatest wrestler on God’s green Earth. Because my name, Zilla, is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and I’m better than you, and on February 20th at House of Glory, my God, you’re gonna know it.”

• Ex-WWE Wrestler Released From Prison
A significant chapter in the legal saga of Cain Velasquez concluded this weekend. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion and ex-WWE wrestler was released on parole from the Correctional Training Facility in Soledad, California, on Sunday, February 15, 2026, after serving 11 months of his sentence.
The 43-year-old’s journey back to his family was a festive one; footage shared on social media showed the MMA legend being greeted by his wife and children to the sounds of a live mariachi band.

While he was originally sentenced to five years in prison in March 2025, several factors led to his early release:
Pre-Sentence Credit: Velasquez was credited with 1,283 days for time already spent in county jail and under house arrest while his case moved through the courts.
Rehabilitative Progress: His parole date was moved up from March to February due to his active participation in approved prison programs.
The charges against Velasquez stemmed from a 2022 high-speed car chase in which he fired a handgun at a vehicle carrying Harry Goularte, the man accused of molesting Velasquez’s young son. While the intended target was unharmed, a bullet struck Goularte’s stepfather, Paul Bender, causing non-life-threatening injuries. Velasquez eventually pleaded no contest to charges including attempted murder, a decision that avoided a lengthy trial.
While the UFC Legend is now free to return to his coaching duties at the American Kickboxing Academy, his legal obligations are not yet over. He is scheduled to return to court on March 18 for a restitution hearing.
Fellow UFC Legend Ronda Rousey tweeted the following:
“Welcome back, Cain! Wishing you and your family happiness and healing!”
