• More New Titles Coming In WWE
On this week’s episode of NXT, Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler retained their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against the team of Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez after WWE Official Adam Pearce got involved in the match.
NXT General Manager William Regal wasn’t happy with Pearce’s involvement in the match and said the following in a backstage segment:
“Because of what happened in the Women’s Tag Team Titles match tonight, I’m going to make an announcement next week that will change the landscape of NXT.”
According to the Wrestling Observer, Regal is going to introduce the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles.
NXT currently has the following Titles:
– NXT Championship (Current Champion: Finn Balor)
– NXT Women’s Championship (Current Champion: Io Shirai)
– NXT North American Championship (Current Champion: Johnny Gargano)
– NXT Tag Team Championship (Current Champions: Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch)
– NXT Cruiserweight Champion (Current Champion: Santos Escobar)
Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez recently won the inaugural Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic to earn the above mentioned WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match.

• Old School Wrestling Celebrity Celebrates His Birthday
Old School Wrestling Celebrity & Basketball Hall Of Famer Shaquille O’Neal turns 49 today.
The NBA Legend is a lifelong professional wrestling fan and had several appearances for various promotions over the years, such as Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling, Total Nonstop Action (now known as iMPACT Wrestling), World Wrestling Entertainment (fka WWF) and All Elite Wrestling.
O’Neal, who’s a personal friend of Hulk Hogan, presented the WCW World Heavyweight Championship belt to the Hulkster, after the main event of the ‘WCW Bash At The Beach 1994’ pay-per-view.
Shaq was seen in the crowd during the Attitude Era and was even allowed backstage with the WWF Superstars.
The former L.A. Lakers MVP served as the WWE RAW guest host in 2009 and joined his buddy Hulk Hogan during a backstage segment on TNA iMPACT in 2012, but had his first ever professional wrestling match in 2016, when he was a surprise entrant in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at the WWE WrestleMania 32 PPV.
Shaq competed in a tag team match on this week’s AEW Dynamite, where he teamed up with Jade Cargill to defeat Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet.
